Getting around in Cape Town is easy. Public Transport in Cape Town includes city buses, taxis, Rikkis, commuter trains and mini buses. Most of the population in Cape Town travel by Mini bus Taxis. They are cheap, efficient and more in number. Rikkis are small bright coloured vans that operate like taxis. Even Metro trains run to all suburban areas and they go as far as Stellenbosch and Paarl in the Wine lands. A fun way to see Cape Town is by a “topless bus”. The trip lasts for approximate two hours and stops at all the major sites in Cape Town.
To enjoy Cape Town’s environment tourists can even rent a car. Renting a car is not at all expensive and more over the roads are also in a good condition. The view is much more clear by a car as compared to other transport.
